3 Bedroom House in Historic District, Beaufort

Welcome to this three bedroom, 2 bath, historic downtown home built in 1897. It is located within a short walk of beautiful downtown Beaufort with all the quality restaurants and shops as well as the beautiful waterfront.
The house has a wealth of traditional Southern charm and is well furnished with antiques from Europe as well as original artwork. Upstairs offers Queen Size, master bedroom accommodation and bathroom with a claw foot tub. There is a further Double Size bedroom upstairs as well as a quaint second lounge room with original floors and a fireplace. The upstairs lounge has a second plasma TV and access to the balcony where you can sit, relax and watch the world go by.
Downstairs offers a dining area with seating for eight and a sitting room/lounge area complete with a brand new 40” Samsung flat screen television with Roku TV.
Downstairs also has a third Queen Sized bedroom with a desk for those who simply have to work. There is also a second bathroom.
We just completed a major remodel for the downstairs. The kitchen has been enlarged and has all new appliances, new sink, all new cabinets and new wood flooring. The bathroom has all new fixtures and flooring. The new washer/dryer is located in a closet on the first floor. See these new photos.
Outside, guests are invited to enjoy some well earned downtime in the comfortable yard that has a gas fired BBQ. The yard is fully fenced and we welcome small pets.
Not only is everything Downtown Beaufort right on your doorstep, but Beaufort is conveniently located for trips to nearby Hunting Island, Hilton Head with its beaches, and just over an hour away, are the charming Southern Cities of Savannah and Charleston. For the families of Parris Island graduates, this home is located just about 10 minutes drive away from the Parris Island Gateway and offers the perfect opportunity for family groups to enjoy a luxurious and comfortable stay together. Fabulous Beaufort is located just one hour from Savannah/Hilton Head airport.

Summary: It was our first trip to Beaufort and wanted to stay where it was convenient, couldn’t have asked for a better place. We had all that we needed in the house and loved the fact we could just park the car and walk to shops, dinner, the park, and many trips to kilwins.

Summary: This was a delightful place that was comfortable to be in. Lots of natural light with interesting artwork on the walls and very well appointed. it is close to downtown, so walkable to shops and restaurants. This is one of the best rentals I have been in!

Summary: Very convenient and short walk to historic downtown. Off-street parking and fenced backyard were a bonus. Home was charming, clean and comfortable. Check in was easy. Very close to St Helena’s church. Enjoyed hearing the church bells and visiting the site.

Summary: If anyone knows anything about Beaufort the waterfront park is definitely one of the more iconic spots. My family and I had the pleasure to stay within walking distance of the beautifully historic district for my younger sister’s wedding. Tom was a phenomenal host as he was very attentive to any need that our family faced to include the password to the WiFi. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home.
